What a result!Scottish Premier Rangers by Scoop - Let's go save those whales you guys! (U9353177) 10 April 2008 I must say I was extremely nervous coming into this tie but the boys have done themselves proud and we are still marching onwards on all fronts. The troops just seem to be finding that extra bit of something needed to keep us going. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

All that matters is this season. i have yet to see anyone say that this is the "greatest achievement by a Scottish club in Europe ever." Give me a link to the thread where someone has said that and i will join you in pointing out certain facts!

Seery234 (U11525200) posted Apr 11, 2008 now how can people say that rangers didnt play inteligent football last night??? They defended and let sporting pass it about and have lots of the ball, pass it about and make runs, apart from a few odd chances that was it...and this led to them being tired very quickly and rangers could then counter on that.... rangers also made a lot of slick passes about the park and made sporting run for it...so tell me how that is not inteligent football.

kjcatford (U7723379) posted Apr 11, 2008 Rangers deserved their win because they were tactically more astute than Sporting. They did not play well in the first leg, but did not go gung-ho as Scottish sides of the past would have done, and settled for 0-0 - not a bad result. Last night - again - they were superb on the break. They play to their strengths - counter-attacking - which was why they beat Celtic recently even though their rivals had much more possession.
