LGone (U3474862) posted Apr 11, 2008 I concur with your statement that Grant doesn´t command the skill necessary to coach such a big team. The man simply doesn´t have a plan. He is not man enough to plant Drogba where he belongs:

LondonsFinestClub (U11217560) posted Apr 12, 2008 I agree with Mag. Zola, criticism of Chelsea is rife in England and all negatives duly highlighted. This is because the cosy elite of English football over the past 40 years couldn't bear to share the spoils and it really bothered some of the English establishment that a former cold war enemy now have influence in our game at the highest level. AT least Abramovich genuinely cares about the game and how Chelsea are perceived unlike The Glaziers and the Liverpool debacle is reidiculous. Chelsea have had to fight dirty and tough to maintain their consistency due to upheavels in management, injuries and absentees, but we are beginning to emerge as a quality top level European outfit which will develop in style and confidence, perhaps Grant is a little Naive or perhaps not! we may appoint another Manager, but it is important we use what we have at a crucial time and Kenyon should be aware of this and stop rocking the boat in pulic, I often wonder has he Chelseas best interests at heart or is he just an enterprising lickarse who knows how to make a quick dollar. Grant has my support although he is new to this level, ther is no point criticizing him at this late stage...Long live Chelsea

baynrw (U10459399) posted Apr 12, 2008 Avram Grant is not the one to blame for chelsea's unnatractive style, it is Steve Clarke and Ten Cate. Grant just simply does'nt get involved enough to effect the team's style of play.

danoriordan77 (U7403484) posted Apr 12, 2008 why is kenyon commenting on football matters - it annoys me the amount of lipservice that idiot has - Chelsea may not be having a brilliant season but they have had a lot of upheaval - losing their most charismatic manager in living memory who led them to back to back league titles and they've fought their way back into contention in the premier league and they are in the semis of the champions league - they got to the final of the carling cup too - sure you'd prefer Mourinho back but get a grip Grant ain't that bad

TheNeutral18 (U11600046) posted Apr 14, 2008 Chelsea are still the same side Mourinho created at the begining of the season, which was naturally defensive and based on solid professionals who don't need to change there game.Grant is just doing the best he can with the players he has.He bought Anelka during the one month he had to buy players so we can assume he is trying to be more attacking, however until he begins next season with his team, not Jose's, can we judge if he actually any good.
