The way this season has gone with all the trials and tribulations and goings on, whats the odds on Robbie Fowler coming off the bench with 15 mins to go on May 17 and netting the winner?
Its going to happen - mark my words.

just to say fowler is about 2 to 3 weeks away from full fitness i know the man very well and he is very disapointed he hasnt made an impact this year and hopes cardiff give him a chance next season dont forget he is onl 32 and still believes that he can preform very well at cardiff and still has alot to offer just needs time so next season if he is still hear he'll be firing in the goals.

If Robbie is fit enough to play only part of a game he should be on the bench for his experience in the big games, also once a natural goal scorer always a natural goal scorer. All the best for the final and don't bet on Robbie not scoring

Totally agree with that prediction. Can't help feeling that Fowler will have an effect, he is too good a player. Also believe Ramsay will be influential aswell but this may be the last game for Cardiff for him if it is.

Fowler does not warrant a place simply on the strength of his past successes. Our entire cup run has taken place while he has been "recuperating" and draining our financial resources in the meantime.

If he were thrown into the squad for the final purely for being Robbie Fowler I imagine a lot of fellow squad members would be irked to say the least, particularly whomever is sacrificed as a result.

If Robbie Fowler is fit, gets match practice and is the form striker at the time then he should be given a place. I would feel sorry for whoever was dropped to make way for him but when all is said and done, the starting 11 has to be the one that will get the job done.

Whatever happens leading up to the Final, i'm sure Dave Jones will pick the best team for the day.

Parry who? None of the other strikers (except Jimmy)are fit enough to clean Fowler's boots. If Fowler is fit he PLAYS!

Think he has to play the impact player from the bench -- this team has brought Cardiff this far - give em a chance

If it wasn't for Dave Jones' tactical genius in spotting Paul Parry as a potential partner to Jimmy Floyd then Cardiff wouldn't have got this far in the cup and would be languishing in the lower half of the league. Watching city at the start of the season with Jimmy and Fowler up front was embarrassing for our squads lack of pace. If Parry and fowler are both fit Parry must play, in the semi without Parry city lacked any decent out let for a counter attack or through ball.

Parry has to play!!!

In an ideal 'Roy of the Rovers' world Fowler would come off the bench score against David James with 30seconds on the clock and win the game for the city.
However, as much as I wanted him to succeed this season he never got fit, was too slow and lacked impact when he played.
If he can get fit I would love to see him next season with parry upfront or someone with pace and the ability to finish.

Fowler is probably cardiffs only natural goal scorer and he does regain match fitness before may 17th i would be more than happy to see him on the pitch. His strike partner should definatley be parry.
i knw fowler hasn't played for ages but at the beginning of the season when he did play for us he got goals, and thats all that matters. i just hope he is fit enough to help cardiff win the FA cup!
