YES! Congratulations all at Newcastle. Kevin Kegan has finally got all of his cogs to work in almost perfect motion. Good things come to those who wait!

Season isn't over yet but you look set to finish safely in in 12th - still pushing for 11th if Spurs keep dropping points.

Well done if your reading this, it means you have stuck with your beloved magpies through thick and mostly thin this season.

And with a Sunderland victroy on the cards you have derby games to look forward to next season

Big things ahead?

Everyone in the team played well. 4-3-3 seems to be our best formation now. Well done the Toon!

Beye had a good game for us, but there are 5 very tough games lined up for us. At this time i wouldn't look at Sunderland as an easy game, this is the time where newcastle show that they can play well against the bigger clubs!

To be fair to Cappello, Owen had been through a bad spell and other strikers were on better form. On his day, Owen is fantastic, he just hadn't been to of his game in the run up to France - saying that, he couldn't do much worse than not score!

It's Not really a 4-3-3 formation though, it's really more of a 4-3-1-2 with owen sitting deeper, and people say keegan is tactically naive...this is a masterstroke I think! To be fair as much as I love KK I think Chris Hughton has helped a lot too! Thanks Spurs for getting rid of such a quality coach! As A toon fan and season ticket holder since i was 12 thought the crowd today was unbelievable...So well done the team, the management and the SJP faithful!
