Super Rafa makes it to Miami final

Masters Series
comment on the article

Rafael Nadal has safely moved to the final of Miami Sonyericsson open.
However that should not be an incredible achievement because he is going to play his second final of the same event having lost the first in 5 sets against Federer in 2006.
What is interesting this time is Rafa has completely stunned his haters who always call him a “moonballer”,a claycourter who will never be able to play well on hard-courts,…
They absolutely forget the fact Rafa has 5 titles won on HC including 3 ATP Master Series titles,a record just a few still playing should be proud of.

Though it is true Rafa has been playing defensively on HC lately but it was really audacious to say he will not be able well on the surface.
The guy is still young, just 21 years of age, with a great future as Borg said recently and is working on improving his game:serve, net game,..

Now that Rafa has beaten Tsonga,Blake twice and Berdych on HC,I believe it should be acknowledged the guy should be given the credit he deserves and no doubt the best of Rafa is still to come on all surfaces as there is enough room in his game for improvement.

Good morning every one

Is morning here, some information about today match, less keep our fingers cross because the forecast said is going to rain.

But also history can be made today in Miami, first Davydenko is the first russian to reach Miami final

About Rafa:

If Rafa wins this title he will be the first spaniard to win there (Miami.)

Winning this title Nadal could become the 4 player to have 10 or more Master series in history.

Agassi won 17 MS he won his 10 MS at age 29

Sampras won 11 MS he won his 10 MS at age 28

Federer has wo so far 14 MS won his 10 MS at age 24

Nadal 9 MS so far if he wins today he will have won his 10 MS at age 21

nadal-davydenko! this is a win-win situation for me...both players, both class acts! i can pretty much guarantee that neither one of them would be critizing the other's game after losing! biggrin

not the best of games so far. DN missed one smash with an empty court... none of them have any rhythm.

DN still pull some good shots every so often.
RN so far waits for ND mistakes. strong but not forcing too much

Second break for ND. If he keeps it like this Rafa doesn't stand a change, he is too passive.

Oops sorry ND typosadface
cdouble (too many NNNs)

Good returns from ND. very precise and RN has to do all the running and spent his time trying to return the ball back in court.

I don't think ND will slow down. Will RN step up?

good game now

Rafa is too passive and defensive, that wont work at all against Davidenko.
Is the final in Miami still played in best five sets like last year?
