Pathetic we can only watch one LPGA major!

The LPGA's first major, the Kraft Nabisco is underway and not one single coverage in the UK.

Aside from the Weetabix British Open we cant see any of the other LPGA majors in the UK. How pathetic is this? I was hoping Setanta would buck Skys sexist trend and show some female golf but alas they could not be bothered. Admittedly, sky got on the act when Wie was making some news. But that soon died as quick as the Wie hype. Now we have Lorena, the real deal and yet not one single tournament! It's an absolute joke!

The LPGA is rubbish as are womens' sports in general. Womens' sports shouldn't be broadcast on TV, end of story.

I don't really think there is much interest in Ladies' golf. Skill and power is just so much less than the men and even the pros seem to play like the ladies at my club - short irons and lofted woods for everything! It really is not a great spectator sport.

What we need I suspect is a Tigress Woods!

tiptop wrong i think
For handicap golfers i think watching Ladies golf swings,is a MUST!
A 20 handicapper and less would learn much more from these girls than watching Tiger Woods
My opinion!
Lets hear other views

totally agree with your comment on learning from watching womens golf. The women on tour have to be far more technically perfect with their swing to gain distance than the men. I could watch Paula Cremer and Natallie Gulbis follow through all day long winkeye

For Arsenal 2008 Quadruple winners - we shall win nothing until we get a striker. For Ladies golf I love it and agree that we don't see enough of it. Lorena Ochoa is small and slim and hits the ball around 280 yards, I don't know too many men who can hit it that far. One_andyrolland is correct, ordinary weekend golfers can learn far more from watching the ladies than they ever will watchng the men. Personally I can relate far more to the distances the girls are hitting the ball than the male pros. Anote for all TV execs out there - let's have more ladies golf. By the way I am a guy.
