Ask Ollie a question

Ian Holloway

The Leicester manager gives his inimitable views on football and life in general in his weekly column,

This week he talks about Leicester's topsy-turvy form, Vinnie Jones' new film and Frank Lampard's strop.

He also answers an email from London band The Holloways, gives his Grand National tip and wonders if Ronaldo has any faults.

Have you got a question for Ian Holloway? We'll do our best to ask him, but if it doesn't get used, keep trying!

Hi Ollie, as a budding sports writer, I thought I'd ask your opinions on the media. You certainly seem to be tolerant of them, enjoying the odd laugh or two, but sometimes they must get on your nerves. Do you see the press as a useful tool, or are they more of a hindrance? (ps glad you're at the helm, despite these inconsistent times.)

Hi Ollie.

Just wondering if you could give us a quick update on how the two Hungarian loanees are settling into life at Leicester. I notice Zsolt Laczko has been in the first team squad recently so hopefully that is a good indication of he is doing!

Get us a good result on Saturday eh?!

Ollie. As a Leicester City fan, I find it deeply insulting that the club is asking us to vote on a 'Player of the Season Award'. I don't think you'll get any arguements that our best player of the season is a loanee, Marton Fulop. The rest have been taking the rise, whilst pocketing their huge salaries.

I know you can't comment personally as I'm sure Milan wouldn't be too happy, but needless to say, it's getting bad if I'd rather continue working in the nastier parts of the Middle East, than fly back to Filbert Way to watch another City game.

Hi Ollie, Please can you tell me what is your favourite type of fish you like to eat? At the moment I am loving Mackerel!

Hi Ollie, good luck for the rest of the season - on the subject of managers and their lookalikes I'd have to say you and Keith Allen look very similar indeed :p

Whatever your faults, you are not a vain man. But why not change that awful photo they use of you. If Captain Kirk saw someone looking like that he'd say "Phasers set to kill". Don't you know a friendly photographer who can take a flattering picture of you?
