What the hell was that?

India
comment on the article

What were India thinking when thy came out on the field 2day. 76 all out with Pathan (A bowling allrounder) as top scorer.
RP Singh is bowling disgracefully at the moment and I dont understand why Pathan is the first change bowler when he can destroy teams when he opens the bowling.

Even though Sehwag hit 319 in the last game I still dont believe he is good enough for India. When Sehwag makes a big score, he doesn't do anything decent for then next 50 innings.

India need to look beyond RP SINGH FOR TEST BOWLING. and Kumble seems to have lost it as well, Piyush should be given a chance.

Dear Ravibala,

When you talk about free speech, does that mean free speech for you but not for anyone that disagrees with you?
I would be delighted to hear your comments about Day 2 of the test match given the professional performance on display from Kallis & de Villiers.

Things going according to plan for SA.

I would have settled for a lead of over 300. It nows seems 400+ is possible.

They may not need to bat again. If they achieve beating by an innings, it would be very demoralising and this have an effect in the final match - thats the plan

So, what was the big plan yesterday? India were going to bowl South Africa out for less than 300? Never has a test match been won with more authority.

"never has a test match been won with more authority" , except when Australia last played SA in a series, or England for that matter.
Still, I am loving watching this match after all the "We are the greatest" Indian comments. All looking good for a competitive series in OZ later in the year.

Trevor, i understand your points but bowling out a so called superb batting line up for 79 and then getting your own players to score double centuries and centuries is a thorough thrashing. I love watch these teams get stuffed like this.

Trevor. Looking back through the posts, I see you said that India were still in the game after the first day. Most of your posts are interesting and poignant but that one was utter drivel. Agreed?

You are absolutely right nigeweir. Now that SA have regained their credentials as the genuine number 2, we can look forward to the real battle later in the year in OZ. India were always pretenders.

Hi trev, world cricket is looking good at the moment. Australia are superb, and today South Africa and West Indies are getting their foothold on the world stage. And of course England are now on an unbeaten run lol lol. Hope you are well there
