Europe: Take Note!!!!

European Football Manchester United
comment on the article

Manchester United were easy winners tonight, didnt once step up to 2nd gear. Solid, Professional, Devastating in front of goal.
Thats how you win away from home.
I'm very optimistic for the rest of the competition!!!

The reason you call my comment a 'load of claptrap' is because you are clearly too dim to get the point.

I never said Ronaldo was a re-embodiment of Zidane, etc. I've got eyes in my head, for chrissake! The point is, there are legendary players who are always mentioned as the best ever to have played the game. Some people would like to put Ronaldo in that bracket, right now. What I was trying to get through your thick swede was that he has all the attributes to get there, and probably will. He just isn't yet the legendary, finished article some would have us believe. Of course he's world class.

As for picking up the 'win one game' comment, I'm not saying it's the only game they've won, since I haven't been asleep for the course of the season. My point was the triumphalist tub thumping that accompanies any big win by MU.

As for 'liking good football' - I admire MU, but I don't have to like them. Or are you only able to appreciate good football if you're neutral?

Got it now? Or have you got some more ignorant ranting to throw my way.

Oh dear.

Doesn't take much to upset a Pompey fan does it?
Good articulate response though, your school is obviously doing a good job on you.

Read my profile, numbnut. I left school nearly a quarter of a century ago. Yes, they did do a good job on me - obviously better than yours did.

Use words like 'claptrap' & expect a slap, unless you've got the gumption to argue a point properly.

Very good performance, it shows that we have the patience to win the champions league. What shocked me the most is how a disorganized team Roma is without Totti and even tho he played the whole 90, i barely saw Mancini around. Anyways, credit to the back four who were solid, even when O'shea came in. To my count, the scoreline should of been 5-1 or 5-2 to United. Roma also missed a plethora of chances, even i would of probably scored on Pannuci's 6 yard fly-over. So overall, good United defence, Roma just did not have the striking power and Van der Sar was brilliant, again. I just want to add that even the ref was good, and they do protect the player with the ball more than in the EPL. Oh and people should stop giving Chelsea a freepass, lets remember that Fenerbahce beat Inter with a full squad and beat Sevilla, and also beat the Dutch, Russian, and Italian league champions. As for a United-Barca matchup, i think it will take place, and will be a mouthwatering fixture.

You are missing my point here, what I was trying to say was that I know Utd are good but there is some hype as usual, the way Utd played wasn't of the best team in the world, they just sit back and played on the counter. Italian teams have been criticesed for in the past (and still do)... DOuble standards, plus the papers are makinbg a big deal about 4 english teams in the quaters, but if the English football was so good, then why isn't England in the European cup?
