ravibala,

It would be nice if you talk about yourself rather than as a self-proclaimed representative of all Indians. Who are you to convey your personal likes and dislikes as feelings of all Indians?

It's a hell of an achievement . . . but . . . scores out there don't mean a whole helluva lot - it's harder to get out before you reach 100 over there than it is to score 40 in other countries.

All the tracks they prepare are as flat as a supermodel's chest.

It was a great innings and still in progress!..Let's hope he gets the 400+ tomorrow as he richly deserve it..

For all those crying over the flat track, let me tell you it's not all that easy concentrating for that long in 40+ heat and still scoring at that menacing strike rate...grow up and appreciate pure talent as you won't see this kind of performance very often!

Logged on to read comments about cricket and realised I had stumbled upon a political debate.

Why is it that race and colonialism always comes into it if India or Pakistan do well at something?

Mr Ravibala
As as Indian I can understand your take here. Even the jingoism can be excused. But spewing vitriol on every posting makes it embarrasing for us to admit you are an Indian like us. Maybe you have a chip on your shoulder and bear some resentment towards the English. But being overboard at every turn is irksome.
The Indian team need not be deified at every opportunity. The England team does not have to be berated at every para. Remember - their team is the most sporting one in the world. See their behaviour during their visit to New Zealand and compare that with the attitude of our preening overpaid cricketers and you will hopefully see the difference.

Well put Stazz. I find Ravibala's comments weird at the best of times and characteristic of someone in need of medical attention. I mean this is in the nicest possible way. His passion for India and cricket is fantastic. His opinions and abuse of anyone who doesnt share his patriotic onslaught is just disturbing, and actually very dangerous. I hope he/she can calm down and contribute something constructive in the future. No one else here wants to be patronised by someone expressing rascist sentiments.

I wish I had been able to see even some of the innings.

Great stuff by Sehwag, he is never boring!

Nice one Fategodcv.

I think the achievement of Sehwag has been put into some perspective when you look at the performances of the Little Master, Ganguly, Laxman and Dhoni on the same wicket. Shame he got out. Good fightback from SA.

Kudos to Virender Sehwag. Truely he has demonstrated his batting skills with absolute sense of application and dedication. His determined effort combined with a shere power play made him even an herculian task look very simple to achieve. It was the indian spectators whose confidence level grew in multiples when he was in the fray which indirectly influenced this cricketing genius to reach yet an another landmark. Finally the world cricket has discovered another Don.. Bradman.. Yes ofcourse and he truely would be the next Indian Don Bradman with many more surprises on the cards.

Bradman at a decimal below 100 average after somethng like 52 tests and a first class average of about the same.

You're losing your marbles!

Go find a good psychiatrist before it's too late.
