cali88 (U11305569) posted Mar 23, 2008 While i appreciate where Rangers are coming from. Why only reward the 2500 who are fortunate enough to be able to travel to Lisbon, What about the 50,000 fans who have to pay £35 a ticket for the home game. would it not have been better to reduce the ticket price by a £1 or 2 and reward all supporters???

watson320 (U7349711) posted Mar 23, 2008 If you used the same money for the home game it would only reduce the tickets from £35 to £34 so it would be un-noticable to most folks.

willy86 (U1292790) posted Mar 26, 2008 As a Dunfermline fan, I acknowledge the point that Bain was trying to make, but Dunfermline were damm close to winning the cup last year and St. Johnstone have been showing that they are no mugs either. You could also point out that within a week, Rangers could have lost in the two cups to Dundee United and Partick Thistle, albeit at later stages, which might not have exactly signified progress.
