comment on the article

Our mid field has no imagination, ossie is over rated and too small, manny is not good enough and carsley is gone past sell by date.

to go back to the thread. We've hit our 2nd bad patch of the season and sudden;y we're rubbish? The players are looking tired, and we just can't cope with the number of injuries (and players playing through injury), that we have. Osman isn't overratted, but like a few of our players, the number of vewry hard games he's played is maybe taking it's toll. I don't think anyone is suprised that Carsley is slowing down after missing just 2 games this season,, but he is invaluable and at the moment we have no replacement.

IF we can find an extra spark or some Adrenaline to take us through our last 7 games we'll qualify for europe. Which competition will depend on how the teams currently in 3rd & 4th do.

Oh and i doubt we can afford it, and don't know if he'd move but anyone else think David bentley would be a great buy in the summer? might be the kind we could only get itf we finished in the top 4.

Everton have blown it now.
I hope Moyes strengthens his squad in the summer.

Hey calm down calm down, how have we blown it?
IF the RS get beat today and if we beat them next week(big ask) then the point we got yesterday could be a godsend.
We were robbed yet again by the blindness of refs sorry linesmen

dunno how traore up there cant see that liverpool have been underacheiving. to have spent that amount of money, to have been favoured more than the Arsenal by bookies and to be this many points behind them is failure. there is no big 4. it's a big 3.

ps. having a top striker doesn't automatically mean ur successful

anyone else think it might be a good idea to let johnson play MR and let him have a good run at the defence instead of having to wait for ball OT which is always disallowed. sorry refs but everton have had sooo many bad breaks

btw agree with bellamy signing especially if we dont get piennar

...lack of bodies I'm afraid, we should have picked up Johann Vogel earlier in the year (before Mark Hughes got in there); Moysey gambled on the fitness of Johnson (last week), and Cahill yesterday, and it didn't work out, subbed after ten minutes, gameplan out the window...same mistake made twice, lesson hopefully learned; FULLY fit squad against the shite next week or forget any sort of result. COYB! FTRS

Freddy Sears' dive at the end of the game was absolutely pathetic. And what a surprise, barely a mention of it anywhere. He's English, right? erm

Troare,

Did you really ask how much of an excuse it was having a lower-value team?.

I take it you weren't amongst those laying into 'Chelski' after Abrahmovitch waltzed in and bought them the Prem title then?.

If a team hasnt the financial clout to simply buy in the top natural talent - you know the sort of thing £27mil on a striker here, £18mil on a midfielder there - the you have to rely on things like workrate, effort, passion, loyalty and teamwork. It is seeing that effort, last couple of games excluded, that has brought the pride back to Goodison.

Then again, as a Liverpool fan, you'd probably not understand much about pride and loyalty - Misfiring Mercenaries of McDonalds Mansion and all that eh?
