ToonHay (U8340833) posted Mar 24, 2008 I am verrrry pleased with the win last saturday but theres one concern, King Kev seems to have the "teacher's pet" attitude by praisin Owen all the time when other players ACTUALLY improved, Barton, martins, enquire, I thought they made big difference compared to other matches they played in...

meatpie_sausageroll (U8172524) posted Mar 26, 2008 i honestly don't think newcastle will go down. the funny thing is when you look at the league table tottenham are only 7 points ahead, now i know 7 points is a lot at this time in the season but if newcastle piece a few results together things will not look so bad. then again that is always the hard part..

NellyPringle (U10837906) posted Mar 26, 2008 It was a good win, considering how long we went without one. I'm glad Allardyce went, he had lost the players, the fans, and the board, and that surely would've taken us down. Tottenham may be 7 points away, but they've scored nearly 30 more goals than us and will probably be too much for Kev's men at the weekend. We'll stay up now, but it won't be pretty.
