I think he is, and he needs to rethink it. He's better than that.

It's hideous to watch and makes him look so limited. It's disfiguring the match against Tsonga.

Perhaps you did not also realise that a Grand Slam is quite an important sort of "competition" to win?

Keep your sarcastic put-downs for something you have some basic knowledge of, eh?

Can you not except the fact that I hate doubles? Grandslam or not.
Or are you another poster whose word is "Gospel".

Shame you dont live here in Norway Bingbangbush. They show doubles tennis matches constantly and I am constantly switching the crap off. You would love the coverage here. Must say I am looking forward to the 2 quarter finals tonight. Its going to be a superb tournament right to the end.

I think you'll find that most ordinary tennis fans (like me) on this message board have a passing knowledge of who the leading doubles players are. What I thought was rather offensive was your initial sarcastic belittling of Jamie Murray, based not at all on his prowess or level of sporting success but on your own crass ignorance and, indeed, arrogance. You don't need to be a 'superstar' to have a reasonable knowledge of the game. Now go away and acquire a little of that before coming on here to take cheap, unwarranted potshots on particular players.

CUJMee, you got the first 2 letters of your name correct and then kind of lost your way a little.

Anyway, I feel like this discusion has run its course. I agree that I had no idea who those 2 israelis were ( or are) and will live quite happily in the knowledge of that.(We cant know everything about everything even though some think they do) However I have little interest to continue this discussion because "Tennis Doubles" does not interest me at all and I really would like to drop this theme now. Before we start getting very silly. OK? Now Nalbandian and Fish are warming up and I will enjoy this match. Take care superstar

You want to hear something about Jamie Murray? He has been knocked out of the competition by a pair of players I have never even heard of. Enough said?

nigeweir,

Albeit very late in the day, I felt compelled to say that I thought your attack on CUJMee was totally unwarranted.

Someone asked why no mention on Jamie Murray, and you felt that sarcasm was the appropriate response - unfortunately for you, you didn't have the knowledge to back it up. Instead of holding your hand up to that and taking it like a man, you were downright insulting. Your '1st two letters's' comment was worthy of reporting. Most here are not that tiny minded - although I suspect you may be.
