Tens of thousands of people all over the UK took to the streets on Sunday to do the Sport Relief Mile.

Despite horrible weather conditions thousands got into the spirit of Sport Relief and went the extra Mile.

Many donned fancy dress, along with their Sport Relief socks and refused to let a bit of rain dampen their spirits.

A massive thank you to each and every Sport Relief Miler - You are all legends!

And thanks to everyone who donated cash to Sport Relief during Friday's mammoth six and a half hour TV extravaganza.

Great event, don't let it be spoilt in the future by splitting it into professional and elite runners like what has happened to the London Marathon.

Did 3 miles in Glasgow Green! Sun shining, brilliant day all round! Just got my breath back! Raised £153 for the cause, going to do 6 miles next year... hopefully!

Well done to everyone who took part!

I actually think it is a good thing that the London Marathon splits the elite runners from the rest.

I did 3 miles for Sport Relief in the first Lurgan Park (Northern Ireland) run and it was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, everyone enjoyed themselves and lots of money was raised for a good cause. Congrats to everyone who did the Mile, I'm already trying to convince people to run next year!
