Live - Sunday's Premier League action

Premier League
comment on the article

Hello there. Back for some more? You just can't stay away you lot, can you?

I don't blame you. If it's excitment, thrills and spills you want - some good, old-fashioned footballing entertainment, there's nothing like the Premier League.

Fulham kick us off against Everton, there's a relegation six-pointer as Wigan host Bolton and then it's a potential cracker as Manchester City entertain Tottenham.

What more could you want? It's chucking it down outside, so settle down, put your feet up, and let the greatest sport in the world entertain you.

PS I'm Stevo, in case you've forgotten.

We seriously need to give refs more tools to review decisions, by tools I don't mean another two useless refs at the goal line, I'm calling for video replays to be available to refs for ANY decision. No different than consulting the 4th official like today except that the 4th official is a video judge and can verify the ref's decision if needed. Ref will still have the power to no goto video replay if he doesn't feel it's needed but if he's really unsure at least he has the option. It's not going to delay the game any longer than the time wasted by protesting players.

These decisions NEVER even themselves out. They go against you in tight game when the score is level and goes in your favor when you're already 3-0 up.

THAT doesnt hide the inadequacies we still have left over from Jol!!!

JENAS - once again mediocrity personnified and if Ramos has the sense I hope he has this guy plus Bent, Zokora and Chimbonda will all be offloaded

why Oh why don't they use video replays in the premier league. The bad decisions do not even themself out over the season as some games are more important than others. The two bad offside decisions at Man City today could affect who qualifies for Europe and that is big bucks as well as affecting a clubs ability to attract players

The officials are awful in their decisions of late. Decisions that are costly. The FA better do something about it NOW.

i dont know if people should complain so much, afterall we all know the f.a... they might start awarding and disallowing goals days after the game has finished if a goal was allowed/dissalowed wrongly for offside.

Its been an awful performance from the officials this weekend, firstly mido shouldnt have got sent off, koumas as well and i know we should have won 2-1 against man city rather than lose 2-1 because of refereeing decisions but we were not good enough in the 2nd half and sometimes you make your own luck!

This week is key for the title race as at the end of it everyone will have 7 games left.

If Spurs spring a suprise against Chelsea midweek, then Chelsea beat Arsenal at the bridge and United win both games this week then they will lead by 6 points.

But United also have one of the most difficult run-in's, so definately not getting over confident yet.

Villa (Home)
Boro (Away)
Arsenal (Home)
Blackburn (Away)
Chelsea (Away)
West Ham (Home)
Wigan (Away)

3 difficult away games, West ham have beat us 3 times on the trot in the league, Villa are a difficult team too play as they proved against Chelsea and Arsenal this season and Arsenal at home will be a close one.

Trying too be totally unbiased i think United will fend Chelsea off by a couple of points.
