BUT im not complaining there has been great races today ive won a little bit of money so happy

Crayolabob (U6548955) posted Mar 15, 2008 The performance in the Aon Chase at Newbury in Feb '08 convinced me that Denman would win the Gold Cup. Kauto Star wasn't 'travelling' or 'jumping' because he was under pressure from a relentless galloper and jumper who was well marshalled by a jockey who knew the strength of his charge. Kauto is a good horse, but on this day, Denman was obviously better.

thefurlong (U10360288) posted Mar 15, 2008 Kauto Star didn`t jump a fluently as he had done in the King George or at Ascot, but I dont think it made any difference to the outcome of the race.Denmans relentless pace completely took the sting out him,if the ground had been a bit quicker he might have closed the gap but I still dont think he will ever beat Denman off of that pace at Cheltenham.
