Lets be honest..

I am under no illusion that we are world beaters. What I would say is that drawing Sporting Lisbon then possible PSV/Fiorentina is not the worst draw in the world and we must belive we have a chance..

"I think it's just a matter of scoring one goal in Ibrox Stadium. I think it won't be too dificult"

Oh, it will be difficult, it will be very difficult, for four main reasons inparticular:

1. The famous Ibrox atmosphere.
2. Allan McGregor
3. Carlos Cuellar
4. David Weir

Ain't any goals getting through that!

I think Rangers should win, but do not underestimate Sporting, they have a couple of world class players in Moutinho and Veloso.

Come to think of it their football youth academy probably has an incredible record for producing world class players:

Cristiano Ronaldo
Luis Figo
Nani
Queresma
Simão Sabrosa
Luis Boa Morte

sporting will rise to the challenge but if rangers want to make their mark in europe they should win - and comfortably, although i do feel it will be a tight onewinkeye

i'll answer my own question...

The UEFA team ranking is determined by the UEFA team coefficients in the last 5 years. The team ranking is used for the seeding of draws. Since 1999 lines with country info (yellow) indicate the lowest possible value for any team of that country. Teams still in competition are indicated with a blue color, and teams from active countries are indicated with a green color.

we need something that doesnt base it on last 5 yrs try this...

Fair draw for the Gers. As for our Portuguese friend who wants to see some silky soccer sorry, we play 'anti-football' to quote the French.

We dont concede goals and we have strikers and midfielders that can get in the box and steal them on the break. I think we are the ideal cup team right now in that respect, so while it is not going to win any plaudits from technically better sides they are sitting at home while we are still in this tournament.

Overall as follows :

Bayern Munich 13/8
