Chelsea 6 - 1 Derby

comment on the article

4 Goals in 1 Game? What do all you Lampard haters have to say now.

Frank i salute you.

I don't care if it was against derby, i dont remember Cesc, Ronaldo or Stevie G doing that against anyone this season, do you?

Well done Chelsea, the title race is back on for you lot, may the best team win. Come on you Gooners!!!

dodgyharry...

how u can rate scholes/giggs as better goalscorin midfielders is beyond anyone with any knowledge of footie...

looks like lampard will now score more then 20 goals from midfield in a season for the 5th year in a row no one else has come close to that record and probably never will..

thats a "great" player...giggs has done nothing for last 6 years he's lived on his goal against arsenal most of his career and scholes was world class but not anymore with age...

All I can say is, Oh Dear. One of the most shocking comments on 606 I have ever seen. I really hope your just being a WUM rather than being serious...

New performance incentive - Grant offered Lampard a pie for every goal he scored.

We beat Derby and "the title race is back on". You are having a laugh aren't you?
Mancs and Arsenal are due up soon. Beat them, then we can talk, but so far we have shown no inclination in that direction. As long as Avram is around, WE WILL WIN NOTHING. I want the season done.

Absolutely! No bouquets from this Chelsea fan for beating the tripe out of the weakest team in the premiership. Where were the goals versus Barnsley and Tottenham.

When the going gets tough we forget how to score goals.

WE AREN'T WINNING ANYTHING THIS SEASON OR FOR AS LONG AS USELESS GRANT STAYS! SIMPLE AS THAT!

jackalexandros:

"Juninho WTF"

That'll be the Juninho with a World Cup winners medal, then! (which Frankie Boy will never have).

If you got your head out of your r's once in a while, you'll realise that Juninho wasn't just " a good little player for Middlesbrough" but played for Brazil at the highest level.

And you obviously didn't get the point: if you rate an attacking midfielder solely on the goals he's scored, then Lamps comes out high up the list, but given rather less biased view, most people would regard Giggs or Scholes at their prime as better all round players than him.

And Juninho too, arguably.

chelstilidie:

The original quote was that Lamps was "the best attacking midfielder in Premiership history", so the current age of Giggs & Scholes is irrelevant.

And as for living off the Arsenal goal...you do seem to have gone clean up the pipe!

Giggs in his prime would make Lamps fall flat on his plump, grass-scraping behind, and Scholes has arguably performed consistently better for England than Lamps ever will.

Just scoring goals doesn't make you 'great'.
