South Africa set for No 1

One-day internationals South Africa
comment on the article

South Africa have beaten Bangladesh by seven wickets in Mirpur to take a 2-0 lead in their limited overs series.

news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cri...

If the Proteas win Friday's final match, they will replace Australia as the top-ranked one-day team.

Bangladesh aren't a bad one-day side, as they proved at last year's World Cup, but seem to be low on confidence at the moment.

So, how good are the Proteas? Are they worthy of the No1 ranking? Which areas of the team do they still need to improve?

Tell us what you think.

BD playing rubbish as they are one of the rubbish team in cricket. SA on other hand playing their natural game. It will be a gd contest between India and SA. SA need to be on top of their performance to beat india.

What a joke the rating system is. BEAT the Bangers and your #1. LAUGHABLE. Beat India, Aus, and your # 1 Not the bangers and zimmers

Ok mr bobstyles…. Funny how all you can mention is Bangladesh. Im pretty sure we’ve played other opponents, including beating Australia in the last series we played against them? What about beating Pakistan in their own back yard? Humiliating New Zealand? White washing the West Indies? Cushing Zimbabwe and now demoralising Bangladesh. Now the Aussies have lost 2 CB series on the trot… and they played horribly this year so far. There batting was pathetic. Now I agree that Australia are the number 1 side, but to stay there you need to win matches. So stop being a sour sheep shagger and acknowledge that SA is doing pretty damn well at the moment.

''Beat India, Aus, and your # 1''

Er, SA did beat India and Oz in their last ODI series against each team, so what's your point?

Ratings are done according to wins and losses.SA knocked the Black Caps,Windies and now BD. Their luck that, BD came before India. India is in great form,Aus tour and Pro 20 World Cup. India vs SA will be a cracker.
