Can u please leave us alone? Torres is our striker.When we bought him a lot of you guys were saying that he's over priced or whatever. Now he's making everyone sit up and look, and defenders squirm in their stuffs..... just thinking of facing him. Hmmmm.....

stats for last 16 ties over both legs are as follows.
liverpool 3 goals, 24 shots, 60.5 poss
Inter 0 goals, 12 shots, 39.5 poss
manu 2 goals, 18 shots, 54 poss
lyon 1 goal, 17 shots, 46 poss
This shows that liverpool are much better in defence and attack than manu in the CL. Thats if you manu fans dont think lyon are a better side than inter. Be affaid utd be very affaid

it doesn't show liverpool are better than united at all. results show who is better, and at the moment liverpool and united are both winning so we're equal.

only when united face liverpool in the champions league will we know for sure who is better. that will be united.

Lyon quite clearly performed better than both Milan teams in the CL this year; Inter proved to provide very little threat to be honest, the were very poor so get over it you beat a terrible Inter team.. United had to play Lyon who played well...look at the premier league record aswel in terms of goals scored/conceded...whos top there?

Yes!!...Liverpool are well and truly back!!
How good was that ball from Gerrard...I think..
to Torres..and that turn to let the ball past before smashing it into the net!!
You could tell they were going to score..and yes you do have to take your chances!!
Well done!!
Gees I hope Liverpool are not matched up against any of the other English Clubs!!..
How Boring!!..Especially Chelsea..too much crap goes into each tie instead of just playing the Game we spectators enjoy..

That is possibly the worst argument to a non-conversation ever.
My (valid) point was I prefer L'pool and Man Utd to Arsenal because there are some English players within the main team. I am patriotic and its good to see decent English players.
Arsenal v Roma in the final would get me supporting Arsenal because they are an English based team and they have an Englishman in the sqad. Can't say fairer than that.
