Well done great effort by Katchit. feel something was up with Sizing Europe who was going very well two out and went out like a light. No other hard luck stories although the ground was against Harchibald.

An England 123 who would have predicted that with two 5 year olds in the frame.Does this mean we could see a period of English domination in the champion hurdle.

Captain Cee Bee may be chasing next year. Also if the going was any softer he would be a doubtful runner. JP could however have a strong hand with both binocular and franchoek coming through the ranks.

Wouldn't right off sizing yet though unless he goes chasing next year. Something was clearly amiss.

I have very bad luck when it comes to betting on the gee gees, (so I don't do it often), but I had a punt on Katchit (despite tipsters saying 5 year olds don't win) and I've been made a happy bunny.

I didn't win much, but anything is a start.

I saw the replay of the race and was surprised to see that Katchit had won.The fact that the horse was beaten last time out took the edge off the win slightly though.Its nice when a horse goes to the Champion unbeaten in the season,as was the case with Rooster Booster.The rainfall did seem to effect a few of the results with a few of the possible winners beforehand not quite getting home.

Katchit was not beaten last time out, He won the kingwell hurdle at wincanton and beat blythe knight.
