The Swans threw away 2 points at the Liberty Stadium when a 91st minute error by Austin let in substitute Greenacre to earn a draw for the visitors.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
The last home match for 2 weeks sees the Swans take on The Super Whites of Tranmere Rovers at the Liberty Stadium this evening (7.45pm). The Rovers are currently 21 points behind the Swans in 8th place but in with a good shout for a play-off place and a win on Tuesday could see them move in to 6th place.

Tranmere have lost ground lately having drawn one and lost two of their last 3 games. Their away form looks like LDDWWL and a 2 nil win at Elland Road last month makes them a good bet to take something from this game. They have only scored 16 goals on the road this season and have conceded 21, thier game on Saturday ended in a 3-1 loss at Oldham which prompted manager Ronnie Moore to show his disappointment in gifting Oldham their goals. Moore said "That was our worse performance this season", he went on to say "We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. We’re at Swansea on Tuesday and we know what we’re in for there".

Possible Tranmere starting line-up:

Coyne, Stockdale, Chorley, Goodison , Taylor, Myrie-Williams, McLaren, Mullin, Sherriff, Moore and Zola.

Tramere Season Form = 65.8 points
Recent Form = 69.4 points
Maximum Possible Points = 82
Away win = 27.8%
Away Draw = 33.3%
Away Loss = 38.9
Away Strike Rate = 101.25 mins
Away Concede rate = 77 mins
Away Clean Sheets = 7

The Swans will want to bounce back from a disappointing result at home to Millwall last Friday that ended an 18 game unbeaten run. Swansea boss Roberto Martinez said after the defeat ‘I thought the players reacted magnificently in the second half and they can’t wait for Tuesday night’s game against Tranmere to put it right’. Swansea’s home form is LWWWWW and have scored 29 goals and conceded just 13 and currently sit 8 points clear at the top of league One. Gary Monk should be available after suffering back spasms whilst Dennis Lawrence and Paul Anderson may need more time before returning to the fold.

Possible Swansea starting line-up:

De Vries, Monk, O'Leary, Tate, Rangel, Bodde, Britton, Pratley, Robinson, Butler and Scotland.

Swansea Season Form = 98.2 points
Recent Form = 98.2 points
Maximum Possible Points = 109
Home win = 66.67%
Home Draw = 16.67%
Home Loss = 16.67%
Home Strike Rate = 56 mins
Home Concede rate = 125 mins
Home Clean Sheets = 9

What a nightmare. The way we have played since Forest, I can't see us getting promotion now. Scotland and Pratley were awful. And our support was abysmal.
Well done to Tranmere, how can 90 fans make so much noise??!! sadfacesteam

Why oh why is Roberto leaving Scotland up on his own for so long???! The opposing centrebacks have him in their pocket! It was just after 70 minutes that we made the change with Bauza coming on, then he left just one up front until Brandy came on...too little, too late...Also, In the time Bauza had got ready to come on, then replaced his jacket, then stripped off again, around 9 minutes had elapsed!.....Teams have sussed us out now & it's time to change the one up front....We are now only SIX points ahead of Doncaster...I feel it slipping away. We play Northampton away on Saturday...I just hope that Akinfenwa doesn't do to us what Willy & Jacket did to us!!!!

This is a reality check to all those who said we are promoted and I WARNED AGAINST IT !!!!

After an unbelievable run of games, which was always going to come to and end at some point, we now need to see the metal of the boys, the steel of the manager and the support of the fans.

COME ON THE SWANS - WE ARE BEHIND YOU 100 %

My God.....what a pessomistic bunch we all are. FACT....no team can keep winning forever. FACT...we have enough in the tank for automatic. FACT Doncaster/Carlisle will not win every game. FACT wins/draws and losses will see us up automatically. My whole life I have been driven to success by PMA ....attitude in business/life/sport is everything....shake yourselves down, get it out of your system and move on positively - the boys will be fine!!!

We clearly are nowhere near promoted. But consider this; if we had drawn away to Doncaster and lost to Huddersfield, and won the last 2 games, we would be on the same points, but would there be so much doom and gloom?? Ask Doncaster, Carlisle et al if they would swap?
It's not over yet, but we need everyone to get behind the team.
Our support was a shambles last night. 11,000 is pathetic. and 90 tranmere fans outsang us for at least 70% of the game. I'm sure the 606ers don't represent the entire catchment area of potential Swans supporters, but do these fans deserve a Championship team?

Lots of good stuff on here again. I just wonder if Roberto was high up in the stands for even 30 minutes he'd see how inadequate our attack is with just Scotland up there. Seeing it on TV just doesn't convey how limited his options are. We need Monk and Anderson back so much, Austin had a better game but Painter has more strings to his bow, some forward runs being one.

Our support was pretty bleak last night, I think our fans vocal chords must have frozen in the below freezing weather erm

Notwithstanding the fact that we eventually dropped a point having missed a load of chances, the thing that astonished me was how absolutely dreadful we were for about the first 15 min in the second half. The midfield seemed to have disappeared completely and Tranmere looked as if they had 2 extra players on the pitch. The fact we didn't concede a goal during this period was more by luck than judgement.
I just wonder what the half time talk was all about when we were plainly not at the races at the start of the second half despite having the bonus of scoring just before half time.
Roberto is talking a good game at the moment but the fact is at the moment we can't score goals- when did we last score a well constructed goal (luton away - 3rd goal maybe) and we can't defend. You don't need to be a rocket science to work out what that means.
