City fan here, just to say despite the penalty decision, reading deserved the victory today. There is no real excuse for a performance that bad. I think that you deserve to stay up so good luck with that. We need our strongest line up back and to start playing good football again.

It was like watching reading of last season and the season before! I've watched them for 12years now and i've seen some rubbish but that dismal run was one of the worst things! We'll stay up this season but in the summer coppell must sell OSTER!

Oh wow! That was the best match I've been to since...no, it was the best match I've been to! My curse is broken. I've now seen Reading win and score...twice! And wasn't the atmosphere at the Mad Stad great? I took my son for the first time and he enjoyed a bit of scarf waving and singing though as usual we didn't always know the words and just shouted what we thought they were - what are the real words to 'ro, ro, ro, ro-ro'? And was everyone really chanting 'Shorey' throughout the match or was it something else?

And didn't they all play well? I can't really pick out any player as my MOTM, but I have to say I was watching Oster since he's been much maligned, and I thought he put in a good performance - good passing shots, set up key players, good throw ins and corners, picked up the ball in dangerous areas etc. I suspect someone will tell me I'm wrong, but I don't know why he's not liked and thought it was worth mentioning...and Kitson's goal was great and Long's was deserved, and Bikey and Rosenoir were good, and I enjoyed watching Matejovsky's class, and Hunt and Doyle did well even if they didn't score. So all in all a briliant day out!

its been a long time i can actually say we played amazing yesterday and fully deserved 3 pts. you can see a difference in our play, its such a nice view to see that we arent just playing long ball constantly, we played at a slow pace, kept the balls simple, along the ground, players you could see were thinking about there next move. I felt so good yesterday after that performance and i forgot what it felt like. have to say hats off to Shane Long yesterday, he was magnificent and probably my man of the match. Same also goes for Roseinoir, played outstanding yesterday and a player i hope grows better with us. Well done lads im proud of you for yesterdays performance and lets hope we dont relax to much as our next games against Birmingham, Blackburn, Newcastle and Fulham are all cup finals for us now, im not expecting much next week against Liverpool, so long as we give it our best i will be happy.

Nice try Svenski - you can't be or you would appreciate what SC did for the strippy rocks. You're clearly just another form of twisted Manc.
