Topo1red (U9448261) posted Mar 7, 2008 I'm a Red but I really don't understand some of the comments people post on here. We should all be happy that Merseyside has 2 teams to be proud of - does anyone on here remember the 80's when we both had excellent sides. There seems to be too much " were better than you" or " we've won more trophies". As for the game last night I was disappointed in Everton, I thought it was the worst performance from them this season that I have seen. But roared on at Goodison and hopefully with Arteta firing on all cylinders there is absolutely no reason you can't go on and win the tie.

kadainja (U9208023) posted Mar 7, 2008 why is it the premier league is the only league with the issue of the "big 4" - its lovely to see the other european leagues so healthy in competition and having more to talk about than whos going to break into the monopoly that english football has become - everton will be a regular CL side soon and that will be brilliant

etude1 (U8045769) posted Mar 7, 2008 I don't mind Beglin but Tyldesley is an impartial prat. At one point all too quick to point out that Fiorentina were well deserving of 2-0. Alright, alright! Mind you he's not half as bad as that red nerd Green who thankfully has been keeping a low profile this season
