With no strikers at Reading scroing goals (We have to reply on Harper, what a great player though!) we loan out the one striker who Coppell has consigned to the reserves for some reason, even though he is scoring goals!
I despair sometimes with what happens ate Reading FC

I think that you must have bnest strikers in terms of squad competition, todorov is a good scorer at this level, iwelumo is strong and nicks a goal, varney mr average at everything, and gray and lita are fantastic scorers

I honestly cant believe we have signed another attacking player. Why haven't we gone out and signed a decent center midfield player on loan? We have signed Grey who is 30 and so far an advert for mediocrity, Cook who cant get into the team and Sinclair who plays in the same position as Cook and Thomas.I dont see any rationale for these signings. I hear we spend 20 million more on our playing staff than Blackpool, how long can we keep that up for if we dont get promoted? Who should we blame if we dont? Central midfield needs strengthening now instead we sign Lita who Pardew will probably put on the right wing anyway. Frustrating.

McCloud said he left MK Dons to further his England prospects, we did well to sell him for 1.5 million.
I go to see Charlton occasionally, to get the best out of McCloud he needs to sit on the last defenders shoulder like Bent, he also needs loads of chances, cos as you found out he misses most of them.

good signing but i cant understand whats the point in signing another striker when pardew plays 1 up front, ok fair enough when we play away we can play that system but at home i think its a joke to play 1 uo front and big chris is simply not good enough, i hope varney is not dropped as the kid has lots of potential and works his socks off, a regular stint in his natural posistion varney will be prolific
