Its in everyones nature to get bored and want something different so I think its just a matter of time that Ronaldo will leave.

I think these rumours will just persist because Ronaldo has made no secret of his desire to play in Spain 'one day'. Did I imagine it, or did he once say that playing for Real Madrid would be his dream? Given this, and the boy's single-minded approach to the game, it's not surprising clubs like Real and Barcelona think they can unsettle him to their advantage.

And while I agree that he could certainly achieve all he wants to at Old Trafford, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he might see Real Madrid or Barcelona as offering a greater chance to do it than United. As a United fan, I hope he will, at the very least, honour the length of his contract, and I believe he can definitely achieve all he wants with us. Hopefully, he can be the driving force behind it, along with the likes of Rooney, Tevez and Anderson. But I have to admit to being just a tinsy bit worried.

"Barcelona have admitted defeat in trying to lure Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas back after director Txiki Begiristain said "he cannot return"."

- I'm not sure who interprets "he cannot return" as an admission of defeat. As always these players are made to sound far better than they are in the EPL and when someone at Barca says they don't want a player it somehow indicates they *can't* get them.

I think Ronaldo will always be linked to other teams, the great players always are. But he's said recently he wont be moving.

This is a greater player and he is at a great team, there is no reason why he should leave for Real, Barca or any other club

i am sick and tired of supposed 'bigger' clubs trying to sign one of uniteds prized assets. real and barca can offer no more than united other than a new experience. besides, why would he want to leave???? player of the year last year and flying this year - 30 goals in 30 games!!! incredible!!!

Talk about hypocrisy! You ManYoo fans don't mind it when you try to unsettle other clubs players (Benzema anyone?), or tap-up nearly everybody on the planet (Ince, Stam, Rio, Hargreaves to name a few), but act like 5-year-olds when the papers report that clubs are interested in your players.

Grow up!
