Davis is exactly the sort of player we need. He shows that this modern need for a so-called defensive/holding midfielder is a nonsense. Two good midfielders in the middle should be able to defend and go forward when needed. When one goes, one sits, it's as simple as that.
If we play 4-4-2 next season when we hopefully have better players then it's Davis and Ferguson for me. Thomson and Hemdani are definitely behind him at the moment.

Davis is a better version of Thomson though i see the centre of our midfield being both of them either side of Ferguson. Novo has to currently start as he seems to have found form and always scores against Celtic!

Davis has been running our midfield since he has come in and we have been doing a lot better since he came in.

I was there yesterday, and Davis controlled the game. Simple as that.

Rangers did what they had to do, to win the match. ok

If we get Davis at the end of the season, it could be 2 in a row for Gers. winkeye

It could be the opportunity for 10 in a row as most of our squad is still young and we have a great batch of youngsters coming through the ranks.

Can I go off in a tangent here guys and girls. Don't you just love the Rangers wearing the white socks with the home strip. I think it makes the team look fitter and slicker. Good players also help of course. I think the signing of the Davies is a done seal. A fully recovered Smith at full back, Whittaker at right back and a new centre back to play along side the Spaniard, I think you could then start to consider a period of being the top team.

Some of the Aberdeen players don't deserve to wear the red shirt! The distraction of the UEFA cup is no excuse for the way they have played. Fighting on 4 fronts was an excuse used a wee while ago - we'll be lucky to finish in the top half of the table now! Is Stewart milne the stingyiest man in Scotland? Over 1/4 of a milion and he can't belp the dons out of their debt and allow them to pay for better players! He is the kind of man that gives Scots a bad name!
