Can't believe the comment made by TeaTimeAtHarrods.
I would love to see the man come down to us. He's big, powerful and can score goals.
Where do we have this in our team for Gods sake.
As for his price. I believe he went up to Scotland under a cloud which is why they only paid £1 million for him. Even at £3 million he's cheap for the prem !!.
Who cares about his past, live for the future..... call yourself a fan.
It's our loss, not theirs.

Rules are rules and as Rangers have found out, it's not the SFA they are dealing with now, so they don't get everything their own way.

hmmm, i recall a certain player who played for three teams last season... just signed on permanently with an EPL club... i guess if you're not one of the BIG EPL clubs, its the same old same old... too bad.

Either them's the rules or them ain't. In any case, what I don't get is why it took so long to make a decision?

Bit unfair to drag this out for so long, but Kris Boyd will be gutted eh?

----

FIFA Don't recognise the Charity Shield as a competitive match, hence why Diarra was allowed to move.
----

Mascherano deal was due to the transfer windows in Brazil being different to here. The ruling has something to do with moving in two consecutive transfer windows and playing for 3 clubs in a season, not a calender year. I am supposing that the Brazilian club was midseason and so wouldn't apply, like Velicka moving to Viking, out of our window.
----

This is a daft rule anyway. It should be scrapped, it's unfair on players, and the clubs. Not all players who join a new club are lazy egomaniacs like Cousin, some just don't settle in and would like to move. What if Cousin simply couldn't cut the mustard and Rangers wanted to loan him to a Chmpionship side or something to get first team games? Would FIFA have blocked this? Yes, but it's insane.

Only winners here are Fulham really. They'll be glad of it when Cousin gets 5 Premiership goals for Bristol City next season. Would've been a panic buy to the extreme.

FIFA has a rule, this was a breach of it, we can argue about it till we are blue in the face but he played for 2 clubs prior. if it was only the 20min sub appearance I could think there is a chance to appeal but he played a full game.

This rule like many others is in contradiction of European labour laws so its only a matter of time before a new Bosman challenges it in the courts and most likely will win but for Cousin he stays, we will most likely need him for the run in anyway if he goes for 3M in summer so be it...the guy is a mercenary so 3M is a nice profit

i really dont see what the big deal is!why not sign a pre-contract and then loan him out to fulham for the rest of the season and have fulham pay his wages!then everyone gets what they want!he cant play as a registered player??he can be loaned out though!!

The only problem I have with this is the length of time it took to make a decision. Now I dont care, the guy is a good player and with Darche still carrying a hamstring problem, I bet he starts against Bremen, hopefully we will get the best out of him until summer, then if he moves on , so be it. Would love it if we could make Steve Davis part of the package and how about another friendly at the Cottage as well, still got a great Vision of Dado's goal from last time.

how the hell can he sign a pre-contract when he's less than a year into a three year deal!?!?
