Billlionplus, I am asserting IPL is about a Hindi marketing effort on a global stage - As an indian , I'd watch non-mercenary matches

IPL is about Shoaib Akhtar, Afridi (all India haters), SRK, Zinta (non-cricket vested interests) - Bollywood stands to make 1 billion in each year of its franchise, for a 100 Million investment - so, I give a damn to your stupid Hindi film industry and their money greed

If Aishwarya Rai does not care about US, why is Bollywood driveing and licking their lips ate every Richard Gere's visit ??

ICL is a better league, with vision, though it has been stigmatized - IPL copied ICL - In waht way BCCI is a leadership oriented organization -

Ravi....True true...but i think they will scale great heights even tho i'd like to think differently.

An average human being will do anything to have a crack at IPL like money offers - Kevin Piterson is a genuine cricketer - He has devotion to the game and his country - so, what's wrong - I respect anyone who respects their own belongings

IPL will certainly not be followed by English., Aussies and NZ fans - It wil be followed by Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India who lack a clear understanding of the basis behind IPL - IPL is a zerox copy of ICL startegy and vision - nothing original - BCCI is not anymore entitled to suck my money (as an Indian cricket fan) than ICL can - chances are , I will watch ICL - not IPL

BCCI has enough money to feed India - so, wh give more to them

Sorry

Sadly, it is very hard to disagree with that, concerned_cricketer.

It is, because Pietersen said before that he wouldn't put the IPL over his England career, but would be tempted if the two could be combined.

Now he has asked the ECB to allow England players to go by changing around the English schedule. He hasn't said he's going to go to the IPL and damn England.

Where's the hypocrisy?
