Following her latest defeat, Amelie Mauresmo has told L'Equipe that she is considering her future in tennis.

"In the back of your mind there's always a little something wondering if it wouldn't be better to stop," she said.

Injuries have taken a toll on the 2006 Australian Open and Wimbledon champion, but should she walk away from the game at the age of 28?

Tell us what you think...

I dunno i just love her armpits, the way her underarm hair flutters in the breeze.

Who says Amelie is not hot. I think she should never retire. I love you AMELIE. Every sport person has ups and downs. I cannot even think of watching tennins without Amelie. Amelie, you rock, you are sweet, hot, and you play good tennis.

She plays great tennis and she is indeed a pleasure to watch.

She has been invincible, and is not now. So what, so has Federer, Nadal and so many before and so many to come. How true is the saying “The important thing isn’t not to fall, but to stand up after falling”. The great majority of us have enjoyed, enjoy and will enjoy for many years her tennis if she decides to keep playing. Regardless of her ranking.
Likewise, most of us will be just as cheerful if she decides to devote herself to whatever else makes her happy.

The important thing? Above all, to Stand Up.

And keep your chin up, you woman of many talents. Surely being happy is one of them. The best is always yet to come, in whatever shape or form – very especially at 29!

Courage, et Bonne Chance smiley

Mauresmo is the only one who should decide whether to continue playing or not.

I agree, she has to decide.
In 'top' sport you have to be confident to succeed, anything less then failure.
Andrew Murray might as well hang his racket up now for he is really a grumble-bum!

Although a good player, I do not enjoy watching her as she makes me feel uncomfortable.
I wouldn't miss her.
I guess that's a woman thing. whistle

Mauresmo does not deserve to be in contention for Grand Slams, being talked about as a contender. She is only as good as anybody ranked 39th

I think she is the most overrated player ever to win a major.

She sucks and shes a total bottler.
