Questions for Micah

Premier League Manchester City
comment on the article

There has been a lot of reaction to the Premier League's proposal to play matches abroad and Manchester City defender Micah Richards gives his view in his latest column.

Micah talks about the effect that extra travel and playing in a different climate could have on a player, especially when player fatigue is already a problem.

He also reveals he has been on a mid-season break in Tenerife with Joe Hart, where he bumped into his old England manager Steve McClaren and Ron Atkinson.

His return to training in sub-zero temperatures in Manchester was a bit of a shock to the system but Micah is ready for Monday's showdown with fellow high-flyers Everton - and has been warming up ahead of the game with some banter with Toffees players.

Just a reminder - Micah doesn't participate in the discussions on 606. You can use them to submit questions that I will ask Micah or to give ideas for future columns. As many as possible will get asked.

And sensible questions only please!

Thanks, Chris

sorry Levyblue no idea about CTIC. An Everton fan I know has just texted me saying his team will batter City on Sunday. It will be a difficult game but hopefully I will be able to text back during the game every time we score.Moreso he is boasting about EFC playing at the COMS in the UEFA Cup final, personally I want two foreign sides competing in that game because it will generate more money for the area. YES I know what you mean about the houses opposite the Laundrette BUT see them now and they are half decent, clean and tidy.Problem with the pubs such as the Grove on match days its all about PLASTIC PINT POTS !!!! uuuugh. try this www.manmates.co.uk browse - main index - you'll find CITY etc etc loads of stuff so the browsing will take some time just be paitent. CTID - catch you later.

Micah, I believe Tevez was missing for a few days after the DERBY game --- I assume he was in your pocket!

Does Micah think that calling Hart up to the England squad for the next friendly would be the right move to give him experience and improve him, or would he suffer from being put in that position at such a young age? Micah himself was picked at an early age, but some players (especially goalkeepers) have difficulty recovering from a bad game. Hart recovered well from the 6-0 drubbing at Chelsea, could he bounce back if he had a bad game on the international stage?

micah i admire the fact you are an up and coming star in english football but i do not think it is neccesary for you to tell us about your breaks in tenerife or other players in dubai. keep it real. it only makes you sound like a snob. do you think people want to hear about millionaire footballers and there time enjoying themselves. talk about the important topics like you were at the start and stick to them. thank you.

"I was watching the game on TV but I was out of the room when it happened. I wanted to see it so much for myself that I stayed up to watch it again on Match of the Day."

I'm assuming you have Sky+, seeing as you can afford it. Surely you know that you could have just rewound it rather than wait for MOTD (where they didn't even show it lol)

I would like to ask Chris why it seems no questions ever actually get asked of Micah? It is always just a one dimensional look at the week. There are no indications in the article that you actually ask him anything?

Surely there should be a section at the end, much like the section at the end of Tim Vickery's weekly column, where it can be clearly seen you are asking questions and getting answers.

Hope this helps with future columns!

I would like to ask Chris Bevan if there are any jobs available at the BBC for me, sports/media related.

Chris seems to answer more questions on here than Micah.

But seriously...
