as a neutral here is my view:

Nani was being a bit flash but what he did was in the context of the situation - he was shielding the ball under pressure from an Arenal player. He didnt do anything else to goad or incite the Arsenal team. Gallas booting him was childish and petulant and was more to do with his own frustration than anything Nani did.

No wonder we dont produce enough technically adept and flair players in England if this is the grief we give them.

I saw the kick wen;
- I watched the game Live (on TV)
- On Replays during the Live game
- Constant clips on Sports News channels
- On Youtube

Are you seriously suggesting that the fairly...not shear blatant kick by Gallas on Nani...which is highly visible in every single clip from every angle!! is not enough to punish him!!??

What an absolute disgrace!! He got away with blatant violent conduct, Adebayor got away with it when he hit Bendtner......and Gallas probaly wont get punished for flippin out nd kickin an Ad board after the Birmingham game!!!!!! how many times r Arsenal gona b let off becos some ref cant see violent conduct in footage which shows nothing more than Gallas kicking!! (people/ad boards) Its ridiculous everyone in the world who saw that footage said it was violent conduct!!!!

Also look at it without Gallas Arsenal hav got no other CB they r without Toure nd wud b really troubled without Gallas...they get away with it wen he shud b punished!!
Martin Petrov got red carded (rightly so) for kickin last nite....Ronaldo got a 3 match ban for touching heads wiv a Portsmouth player!!
GALLAS KICKED NANI....THEN HAD A RANT AND KICKED AN AD BOARD....WILL HE GET AWAY WITH IT??
FIND OUT NEXT WEEK ON.....THE BLIND FA LET HIM OFF!! AGAIN!

He should hav been banned for 3 games for violent conduct end of!!
And as for Flamini snapping Nani!!?? Surely the word u were looking for is 'Missed' Nani lol!! If Flamini had hit him he wud hav been red carded nd banned for 3 games aswel tbh!!
Its a disgrace that Adebayor hit Bendtner, Gallas kicks Nani, then has a rant, completely abandons his team and sits on the pitch like a little cry baby at the end of the Birmingham game...Gallas behaviour was a total disgrace yet the Mannager and the fans stick by him!! Pathetic...Fergie or Mourihno wud hav ruined Gallas for such behaviour!! the captain is supposed 2 be a leader for the squad nd is supposed 2 bak them up, not sit on the pitch like a child because his team drop points!!

OH MY GOD lol u lot call gallas a cry baby and your team is bloody full of them lol i still remeber when hargreves tryed to compare himself with ronaldinho "oh im faster then him" lol yeah right and ronaldo cries at the slightest touch ive got a video on youtube showing that ronaldo cries more times then ive seen a football player cry if u want the video just ask and ill supply

Lol Ronaldo cried in the World Cup...jus like the entire england squad!
Gallas cried because they drew with Birmingham!! theres a slight and very huge difference there!! genius!

Gallas was out of oreder on both instances!! u cant use showboating as an excuse! jus because a player shows off once in a game it dosent mean u can kick him!! lol plus showboating is not agenst the rules...kicking on the other hand is very much agenst the rules!! Gallas shud b punished for violent conduct which is exacly wat it was!! HE KICKED HIM!?? :s what more can be said, he should be punished for being violent on the pitch!!

As an arsenall an i beleive gallas should have been awarded a red card plus further action by the F.a, i also think he should be stripped off his leadership duties at arsenal the way he goes on is completely unacceptable throwing a litlle girls strop in the middle of the pitch due to the fact that we drew against birmingham

Whilst i'm not appluading Gallas's kick at Nani these things happen all the time. Bookable at the most in my opinion. Fergsuon take a look at Paul Scholes. He's been kicking players for years! If we're saying that Gallas should be punished then we're saying that any player that has ever kicked an opponent should be punished which of course will never happen as there's so much inconsistency in these things! As far as Gallas's behaviour at Birmingham was concerned if he's guilty of anything then surely it's only caring! What's a captain supposed to do? Given that we we're 1 - 0 down, 2 - 1 up with seconds to go and the points were shared, not even thinking about Eduardo, cut the guy some slack. What's he supposed to do, be happy that Eduardo got injured and that we ended up drawing a game we should've won!?!? Let's talk about something worth talking about please such as Eduardo's injury and wishing him a successful and speedy recovery.
