I hear that you could be going into administration.

I hope this is not the case and that you can pull it around at some point soon.

Maybe this will explain the "blip" you are having?
I'd never want to see a club go into administration but theres something about you might not be deducted the 10 points?

All the best and hope you can sort it,

Jonny

I am awaiting approval from Number 10 Downing Street to approve the below petition relating to finances being shared amongst the lower leagues.
Click on the link and once live lets circulate it on as many forums as we can and see how many sign up

i can't believe we're in the doo-doo again after last time. the ground lease looks to have scuppered the latest takeover so who knows whether we'll get through this.

Obviously been going on a while this and it might go some distance to explaining our 4 games on the trot losing streak.

petition sounds a great idea because the money floating around in the PL could easily save a lot of clubs like rotherham. actually the money floating around in stevie g's back pockets could probably save it.

i'll call john terry and ask him to keep out the bookies for a week and send his gambling money to RUFC.

sorry but what i dont understand is why the council have the money to help with a new stadium, but dont have anything to help us financially in general. Ok its not something that is expected of the council, but its Rotherham United that put Rotherham on the map. We may not be a huge club, but people have heard about us in the past with our successive promotions up the divisions.

If they dont help the club there wont be a team to build a stadium for!

It's just a thought - but all the "petty" fines that Premiership clubs get - £20k here, £75k there, and in some rarer cases larger fees - couldn't they all go towards lower-league clubs instead of going towards adding the new Jag to the company-car list at the FA?

A more plausable scenario would be for Premier League clubs to "buy" or "sponsor" a lower-league club. It'd be like a feeder-club, but instead of a mutual agreement - the small club would have wages etc paid by the larger club, and be the first stop for loan players from that same "big" club.

Unfortunately the latter, although more realistic, would destroy the spirit of our national game. I just hope someone at the FA thinks up something better - but I won't hold my breath.

Good Luck to Rotherham. I think most Blades have a soft spot for the Millers. We were the club that probably helped out most last time by donating money and loaning players free of wages. With luck the people of the town will come out to support.

crosspoolblade. utd helped an enormous amount last time round. the free loan of players like little quinny (who was our best player in those last few months) really really helped and was, i hope, repaid in thanks when quin and warnock came to millmoor and received a standing ovation.

i just hope we can stave it off in some way but i really think something needs to be done. the money just isn't around at the moment outside the PL.

Maybe clubs could apply for charity status? then we'd pay no tax and our taxman problem woudl be history.

Bradford fan in peace.
Stick with it lads, hope things work out ok for you, and this doesn't ruin your promotion bid, didn't deserve to go down last year, do deserve to go up this. Both times scuppered by a badly worked piece of red tape and beaurocracy. See you at VP soon, good luck till then.

It`s no good pointing at the money top players get paid. The way some clubs handle their finances these things are bound to hapen.
Many clubs live beyond their means.
Big finacial gambles come home to roost sooner or later.
Best of luck to the Millers fans off the pitch.

Good luck! Absolute disgrace that big clubs get richer while clubs like ours go into administration! Here's to both our clubs' future!
