Quarter Final Draw: Who Do You Want?

Premier League Portsmouth

Very fortunate once more today in the cup, you need luck to win the cup and we have been very fortunate this year, obviously we want to avoid Chelsea and Man Utd in the next round, but who do you want?

Cardiff City at home would be the easiest route to the semi final's I think, aswell as the obvious, Bristol Rovers will be right up for it and West Bromwich who in my opinion are a premier league team playing in the championship are also teams to avoid tomorrow I think.

well well well, its a poser and make no mistake, no one is invincable and any team can have an off day so hold on and let the rollercoaster of the FA cup run... of course it looks like a chelsea and United final...

I'm not suggesting Manchester Utd will fear Pompey....just that you would not be thrilled to have got us.

I still maintain this will not be a forgone conclusion. I fully accept we have been fortunate up to now, but I believe we have a team more than capable of competing at O.T., notwithstanding the previous league result.

People are totally getting this wrong, some saying they feel its fixed and that we're going to have a repeat of last years boring final.

Ok. Well i'll admit last years final was boring, but it took until the last few minutes for the game to be decided, if Man Utd beat Pompey and then get Chelsea, and everyone is happy that the final isn't this, we'll have a team a division at least below facing one of the biggest sides in Europe, and the game will be over within 20 minutes, and people will wonder what to do with themselves for the rest of the time. And the only reason that game was boring was because of fatigue, on a good day Man Utd and Chelsea can produce a brilliant game of football.

Anyone stupid enough to think that it will not be a Premiership side lifting the trophy needs their heads examined. If you get what you want, there will still be a Premiership team in the final, and if Pompey do wonders by beating both Man Utd and Chelsea, they'll still be a class above whatever their opponents are.

Hmmmmm Chelsea avoid Premiership opposition again where as Untied have had Premiership ties from start to finish, Dejavu from last year, United VS Boro for the semi final draw.

i agree with you 100%, the 4 prem clubs left in are still a class above the rest, however thats the beauty of the FA cup no one expected barnsley to beat liverpool, and if pompey did beat utd then chelski well they would deserve to win the cup

Lets just hope we get a Ref that won't be scared to make calls. I know we were poor in the last match but should have had a penalty that the commentators didn't go back to. Please Please FA....A Strong Ref. Make it a fair game!
