Ronnie will win the Welsh Open final

Ronnie is unstoppable form from uk championship and he will win the Welsh Open final tomorrow but this time I think Ronnie will beat Mark Selby comfortable by winning 9-5. I don't think it won't be that close-match this time and no maximum break too.

Now the China Open .... I think Ronnie will pull out of the tournament at the last minutes to give him a break before the World Championship is important to him to get his refreshing mind of frame. I think only 4 players can win at Sheffield is Murphy, Selby, O'Sullivan and a possible Hendry as he return to form now.

I think Stephen Hendry will win the China Open before Sheffield.

it never safe until it all over at Sheffield !!!! Davis still need more points at China OPen, it would be a huge BONUS if he did win the China Open title but I know Davis got no chance at all.

davis147.i said yesterday, even though i,m a great hendry fan,i,m very realistic.hendry had a great welsh open 2008,but can he continue to hold this form and even progress even more.it,s way too early to predict that.he,s thanks to his semi-final placing this week moved back up the rankings,so it,s a startsmiley can ronnie win the welsh open 2008!?.if he plays today like he played yesterday, then,of course,he will!.but the big question is????,can he produce today what he produced yesterday???.

Is it just me who was confused by Murphey's comments:

""What should be noted is the amount of respect that Ronnie paid me on the table.

"Every time he was playing safe he concentrated on putting the cue ball in the precise position that would make it as tough as possible for me." "

Surely Ronnie putting the cue ball in the best position possible is the whole point of snooker and a sign of Ronnie playing well, rather than some big show of respect
for Murphey in particular. And why is it so important that we all note this apparent respect???

Perhaps I am missing something, but I just found Murphey's comments a little strange.

I am a great fan of Stephen Hendry and think he deserved to beat Mark Selby in the last round. I think it would have been a brilliant final with him and Ronnie, as Hendry is coming back to form fast.

For todays final I predict that Ronnie will destroy Selby.

Also its spelt Murphy not Murphey.

I agree that Murphy's "respect" comment was odd. Truth is Ronnie's patience and excellent safety play have been more than noteworthy, seeming to make him even hungrier on the attack. Look out Shelby!

Is anybody else getting tired of S Murphy telling us how great he thinks he is?
His interview after losing to Ronnie said it all for me.
A little humility would do him the world of good. (IMHO).

I'm a big Ronnie fan but for people to say that he'll beat Selby without much fuss makes me surprised as everyone knows that it depends on what side of the bed Ronnie gets out of on the day of a game, i'm afraid its as simple as that for such a complexed guy!!
