Say what you want about Lampard, but there is no player looking for spaces in front of the area, trying to receive the ball from their mates in scoring positions like Lampard.
And there should be no discussion Lampard vs. Gerrard: they are different. But, why don't people discuss the fact that in the World Cup (and in many games), Rooney was going into Gerrard and Lampard spaces, leaving an empty space upfront and not helping to create?
I am not english, btw.

Lamps proved his class and this was the perfect game for him to ease back into the team. Of course
West Ham fans still resent him as do a few others jealous of his ability, but he will be back in the England fold shortly. The quadruple may be outside Chelseas' control, but Lamps and Terry can guide Chelsea to a cup treble. Lamps to be Chelseas highest scorer from now to last ball KICKED THIS SEASON, Super,.Super Frank...Super Super Frank,...

Hopefully Capello unlike McClaren will take into account the calibre of Chelsea's cup opposition when considering Lampard for selection.

-----------------------------------------------

I hope Capello takes the oppostion into account as well...i mean if Stevie G can't lead his team to victory against Barnsley then there shouldn't be a ploblem for england in midfield...as Lampard who scored 2 against lesser oposition should be in..i'd rather goals than a loss.
