WHATS HAPPENED TO ROBBO

This season has been extremely disappointing for Neil Robertson. The 2-time ranking winner dubbed the Melbourne Machine has not added to his trophy collection.

A few questions:-

1. Can he rescue anything from this season ?

2. Is he playing too slow ??

3. Is he not disciplined (practice) enough to maintain consistent performance ???

4. What effect did the premier league have on his current predicament ????

5. Have you ever seen a worse hair-cut than that sported by Robbo (surely he will ditch this Austin Powers look for China Open) ?????

Your thoughts.

Don't think the buzz is there anymore in snooker ( yesterday's match with davis and o 'sullivan , venue half empty ) and i think the players have let there games slip and at the moment all much of a muchness and capable of beating each other.

I think he's trying too hard to recapture what he did last season, instead of playing his own game he is trying to be what he was then, he needs to be in the 'present' frame of mind rather then the 'past'.

He is a top player when he is flowing, but this season is a massive disappointment for him, next season can surely only get better I reckon.

All the pressure GJ is putting him under is clearly getting to him.

I told gj to prepare himself for some bad news yesterday. Hope he did.
Robertson will be back, but his game will never get past a certain level. But don't take anything away from Carter. On his day he is a handful for any player in the game because he is a very good break-builder.

In an interview Robbo admitted that he is a lazy guy that haven't visited the training table as he should.

And that is sure an immature approach. You win a few smaller tournaments and you think you got it made. Reminds me of Maguire.

The guy have potential but he got to work with every possible part of himself and his game in order to reach his potential.

mullwarp

what interview is this because unless you have a link stop throwing in idiol speculation that has no evidence to back it up

i think robbo will still have a good run in the worlds because against cope he definetely improved from earlier in the season and he showed good fighting spirit in pulling it back to 4 v 3 from 4 v 0 down yesterday

come on robbo !!!!!!!!!!!

GJ, an interview. You know: a journalist asking questions and a person answers. And why should I have a link to that? The 606 board is certainly no doctoral thesis or seminar.
Sometimes you are cocky and immature as your idol, GJ.

Sometimes?????

When was the UK Championship a 'smaller tournament'? Or the Grand Prix, for that matter? They're both 'majors'. Or do you only consider the World Championship as being worth anything?

Bulletin, what are you talking about? The Robertson won the round robin Grand Prix 2006 and the Welsh Open 2007. No major. Majors are elected in bigger cities and ...

Sorry, the worlds, UK and Masters are the serious tournaments since they are played in longer formats.
