WELL DONE FOR TODAY, SINGING 'THERES ONLY ONE PETER JACKSON' AND 'JACKO, JACKO!' AND 'PETER JACKSONS BARMY ARMY'
truly great support and if todays game against chelsea was won by fans we'd have won 5-1, biggest cheer from chelsea fans came when barnsley scored!

I think the Huddersfield Town fans at Chelsea who sung your name, proves to you what you mean to the Club!

You will always be a legend in our minds for what you did for us in the two stints at the club.

Hopefully you can win this next battle, the most important of your life and get back to what you do best and getting teams promoted.

I think I speak form not just Huddersfield Town but all the footballing community in wishing Peter Jackson a speedy and successful recovery.

As an eighties Bantams fan, I've two abiding memories of Jacko. New Year's Day 1985 saw us taking an early pasting at Rotherham, when Jacko went down during a break in play to do up his bootlace. He took his time, and slowly looked at each of his colleagues in turn and gestured them to slow things down. The heat was off and we went on to win following this inspired leadership. The second occasion was shortly after his transfer to Newcastle, when I went to see NCFC at Old Trafford. Jacko scored early with a blast of a header that screamed into the net from the edge of the box, sadly at the wrong end, but there was no doubting his commitment !
