Pegpilot (U11064205) posted Feb 19, 2008 As an eighties Bantams fan, I've two abiding memories of Jacko. New Year's Day 1985 saw us taking an early pasting at Rotherham, when Jacko went down during a break in play to do up his bootlace. He took his time, and slowly looked at each of his colleagues in turn and gestured them to slow things down. The heat was off and we went on to win following this inspired leadership. The second occasion was shortly after his transfer to Newcastle, when I went to see NCFC at Old Trafford. Jacko scored early with a blast of a header that screamed into the net from the edge of the box, sadly at the wrong end, but there was no doubting his commitment !
