There are a number of athletes returning from long injury lay offs this olympic year. Which ones do you think can make a major impact, or which ones are you particuarly looking forward to seeing compete once more.
I think to me anyway the returns of Rhyss Willianms and Dean Macey rate highly on my list.

it's a real shame macey has been injured so much, is there any news on his current fitness?

if he's on form he's a genuine medal contender, and could even win it as no one seems to be dominating at the moment, and 8700 or so could be enough, which is within his range.

but more likely i think is for him to battle through injuries and finish a plucky 4th like he did in the last 2 olympics. but still, he's a top guy.

No been waiting on news about him. Seen his name mentioned on a few boards about a return but nothing more. All depends on his day and injuries barring, he'd get gold, but as you say it could well be a fourth, but at least he keeps us on the edge.
