i was afraid at some point during the match the ref would notice william shakephere fouling Henry the v in 1462 and award chelski a well deserved penalty =P like in the reverse fixture

if torres had been playing would've been an entirely different game. for a start if you watched the match, liverpool played all their attacks down the wing due to the fact that crouch won every aerial ball. the defence was strong enough, they would probably have done enough to stop torres, as they would've played through the middle. also, had chelsea had essien and drogba back in time, again another different story, as anelka would've got the service required. chelsea lacked any height and lost practically every aerial ball. game on

Why are Liverpool fans slagging off Crouch? Is he not good enough any more?

Liverpool were indeed the better team over the weekend, which makes it all the more disapointing they didn't convert it to three points. Chelsea were tactically inept, and frankly, we didn't look like we really wanted to win all that badly. Our formation was way too conservative.

Basically I think our fantastic home record is beginning to weigh heavy on us - it might do us a favor if we lost it. In games like this we look so frightened of losing at home that we get paralyzed. At the weekend we played like Grant speaks....slowly and without passion.

makes some sense i mean one player can't always change the face of a game but then again tevez did save west ham from relegation the same way Henry was a huuuge help for arsenal's success during a certain period of time, then he did his job and left and now arsenal are performing very well so...
