United 's current problems

Premier League Manchester United
comment on the article

After the worst performance two of the worst performances in ages here's what I think is wrong with United at the moment.

1. Strikers

United have only got one real striker in Saha who is constantly injured. Tevez and Rooney are more like midfielders and when one of them is missing the other finds it difficult

2. No captain

With Gary out United haven't got a leader. Imagine if Roy had been there today. Would you for one minute think he would have let Anderson, Nani, Giggs and Scholes play like they did today?

3. Reliance on Ronaldo

United are too reliant on Ronaldo. Every second ball goes to him and when he has a bad game the others often look lost. It's time for players like Tevez, Scholes and Giggs to step up to the plate.

4. Short free kicks and corners

Maybe not that important of our game but United never seem to put a corner or a freekick in the box. If you look at Bolton under Big Sam they seemed to score at least one goal from a set piece each game. United take them short and lose the ball or cross under pressure, which invariably leads to a bad cross.

Do you agree or am I just to angry about the result to see things aren't that bad? Let 's hope it gets better for the rest of the season.

listen. man.united are the best in the world. they much better than arsenal. why is everyone acting like ronaldo is a bloody machine. he is only human. people saying he isnt big match player. whatever we play a big match at old trafford. he has a good game. what about roma. what about chelsea. but we play a big team awayf rom home. they put 2 or 3 player on him. and he cant do anything. what about the fa cup final against he play alright for a shit game. but in the comminity final against chelsea. he play quality. today was a bad day for everything the only good player today was van der sar. we play aresnal on saturday at home. watch he will perform.

i think saf made some mistakes in this game. playing scholes and anderson together was a mistake playing nani for the whole game was a mistake, playing 4-5-1 was a mistake. i think he thought man sh**Y would be pushovers with elano and others out. He should have played 4-4-2 and defensive mid even though we was at home

You are absolutely right in your assessment.

MY COMMENT TO THIS LOSS IS SIMPLE,
TACTICALLY I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED HIGH BALLS GIVEN THE FACT THAT MANCITY HAD CROWDED THE ENTIRE MIDFIELD, WHICH COULDNT ALLOW US PLAY OUR IMPRESSIVE PASSES.
SECONDARY THE ABSENCY OF EVRA OUR LEFT BACK ALLOWED MUCH ROOM TO VASSELS TO KEEP RUNNING AT OUR DEFENCES, A NUMBER OF TEAMS HESTATE TO ATTACK UNITED FROM THAT EVRA SIDE GIVEN HIS POURCHING AND ATTACKING RUNS.
THIRDLY IBLAME THE INTERNATIONALS THAT PRECIPITATED THE LOSS OF FOCUS OF OUR PLAYERS NOT ONLY CONTIRBUTING TO THEIR BEING UNFIT, WE ERE SO HEAVY ON PITCH.
I BLAME THE WHEATHER ESPECIALLY THE SUN THAT AFFECTED THE VISIBLITY OF VANDARSAR, ALMOST THE GOALS CONCEEDED CAME FROM THE DEAD SIDE OF THE SUN,I WISH HE USED A CAP.
ITS UNFORTUNATE ESPECIALLY AT THIS TIME OF THE SEASON,STRATEGICALLY WE HAVE TO COUNT ON HOSTING THE GUNNERS AND DOING THE NEEDFUL TO ERASE OUT THE THREE POINTS.EVRADAVIDRI

queiroz blamed it on fatigue due to international call ups - jetting off to the U.A.E or whereever they went is worse as it was only for money so if they were tired it was no fault but there own

If its blamed on fatigued officially after the international friendlies, then you should be knackered after that 39th away game in the winter.

Fatigue my a*se. Why can't they ever just say we were beaten fair and square?
