Benjani oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh Benjani ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh he comes from Zimbabwe he gonna score ''Next week'' Benjani ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I don't mean to rub this in but now i think we've got a chance in next weeks Derby. Portsmouth got a good deal to get Defoe anyway and Benjani is getting on a bit anyway but for this season hes a great signing a figure hasn't yet been comfirmed but it seems that the deal is in the region of '£7.6-9Million'.

We needed this signing and this will boost our chances for Europe or maybe nick a 4 place spot (Which is highly unlikley, but possible).

I am sure what happened to Benji had nothing to do with where he comes from.I had expected the deal to go through without any hussles.Surprisingly City are already bragging about ''Cheap acqisition'' Well there seems to be differences in the way players are treated .I don't think players in the premier league have equal rules gorvening them .To me it has something to do with where you come from .Honestly we have struggling players who are on and off the pitch but being sold at very high prices.Benji is health energetic and we have seen that on the pitch but look at fee and the pathetic reasons for the downgrading .Anywhere African players seem desperate that's why they go cheap .wish Benji the best

He fell asleep! laugh Not the greatest of starts.

Benjani isn't half bad, but Portsmouth have easily got the better deal.

How do you reckon that? They've only got half what they should have got, money-wise doh

Do you think they'll get any more out of City, once he's played 75 games? NO CHANCE ... City will sell him for what they paid for him after about 60 games, and Pompey will be doubly stuffed!

Benjani not good enough for Portsmouth but good enough for City!! Doesn't sound an exciting prospect to me, but then again we are desparate for a striker and by Premiership standards we've not exactly spent a lot.

Benjani is a hardworking player as evidenced by his play during his time at Pompey, I wish him well at City and hope he can makes his debut, hopefully against Man U, a memorable one.

We will get more money from you before he plays 75 games,Think you will find the payment at 75 games is probably the smallest of the lot we get some when he reaches 25 and 50 so no problem if you sell him before that.

Looking at the stats one Mr Torres (whom he's tied with on goals) cost £26 mil odd. Tevez has 11 goals and he cost well around £20mil. I just hope Benji fits in well and resumes his goalscoring trend. I'm sure if there's someone who can help City qualify for any of the tournaments... its got to be Benji.
Good luck lad... 'n good choice Sven!
