ben haim has actually improve 100% since august and as a fourth choice centre back hes brilliant!! there int anyone else that would b happy to play 15games a season at chelsea. so keep ben haim for cover.
shevchenko is too light weight when we play away from home, hes only scored in the champs league away from home i think!!porto n valencia both last season, he just ant got the work rate. we need drogba back and lampard n terry n essien. but come on weve done so well since everyone got injured n went to africa, these players have proved they can come in n do a job!! its not yesterday thats guna cost us, its blackburn, everton n villa at home, theres 6points gone there, thats the difference!

i question the loyalty of some chelsea fans on here, we draw with portsmouth away from home n wer unlucky. get over it, theres no need to change anything until we get everyone back. weve dun the best with what weve got. just live with it. were still in there! arsenal dont impress me one bit, the mo id say man united are the best team out of the three but things can change

Well I hate to say it but being optimistic doesn't pay u know... This result marks the end of Avram's tired chase for the PL. Look we to face facts as they r- we need a manager. so far we've won not because of tact but out of the class of the players we have. They have no leader... tis like looking at a very spirited but HEADLESS chicken. Avaram's just not the quality we,r used to or need... Jose, Ranieri, etc... We need to become a big club 'n Avram apparently thinks small, he's taking us back to being the pensioners...

I think Avram has done well. But is he good enough when it comes to outdoing Arsenal, Utd or even Liverpool? I'm not sure. In all fairness to him he's done very well considering all the injuries etc and he's got the best Ballack, SWP etc. But i'm not sure we could put him in the same bracket as Wenger, Fergie (although he's not been there long)Just not sure he could win us leagues/champs lge etc?

Considering theamount of players missing, Avram has done very well. O.K. he lost to Utd and A rsenal, but with depleted resources. Chelsea will prove how good they are if they can beat United, Pool and Arsenal. mAXIMUM POINTS MAY NOT WIN THE TITLE, BUT IT WILL SHOW THAT cHELSEA ARE IN A POSITION TO CHALLENGE FOR C.L.AND WITH A FULL SQUAD PUSH AHEAD NEXT SEASON AND WIN THE TITLE. neither utd or arsenal would have done any better in chelseas situation this year....so we will pass judgement on Avram at the end of May.

SparkyBlueHughes - Yup fair enough. He does have the same record as Jose had at this point so can't knock it. If we can beat Utd and especially Arsenal then that would prove a lot. Jose had good records against them both. I hope we keep hold of Drogba though - the big teams can't defend against him and he makes a difference.

Portsmouth have improved alot in the past few season and defoe should be pinching himself about playing for harry redknapp he by far the best manager in the P.L your al alking about how you need all these players back if you were a top team you wouldnt need them you would be able to use the quality player you already have to win the cup so all of you need a reality check and think are you realy a top flight team anymore ?
