It's a shame Ian Hughes' article failed to mention any of Sunderland's captures. Bardsley and Evans are helping to shore-up the back, and Andy Reid could be the creative spark in midfield that has been lacking (at least in the absence of the injury-hit Richardson)

Sort it out Hughes!

Worst sale of the window, Charlton selling Andy Reid to Sunderland, i know he is injury prone but Charlton desperatly lack a creative midfielder and we just sold one of the best in the Championship.

I think most of the action in the window was rather too frantic and desperate. That said, value for money, I think these are the best three buys:

1. Manucho - Manchester United

2. Jermaine Defoe - Portsmouth

3. Nic Anelka - Chelsea

The worst I believe will be:

1. Afonso Alves - Boro

2. Skrtel - Liverpool

3. Jari Litmanen - Fulham

This is my perspective but as we all know, it is easy to see, hard to foresee. I could be so horribly wrong just as I think I was when I stated Arsenal had made a coup in signing Walcott.
