Transfer deadline day

I can almost feel the slight draught created by the transfer window starting to close.

The desperate scramble is on as managers try to boost their squads for the remaining months of the season. I can almost visualise players jumping through an actual double glazed transfer window.

What I want to know is a) what you've heard is going to happen and b) the quality of your source/information.

So if Barry from Berkshire writes that Ronaldinho is off to Chelsea (a perennial transfer deadline favourite) it would be very handy to know, Barry, if you heard it off a bloke down the pub or actually spotted the buck-toothed Brazilian heading into a secret meeting at a Travelodge on the M25.

I'd also be interested to hear what you think about the various comings and goings.

And while you're doing that, I'll endeavour to keep you bang up to date on all the latest transfers.

What the hell is Megson doing signing some 2nd or 3rd rate championship striker on loan,I pay for 4 season tickets a year to watch a premiership team with premiership players, if I wanted to watch championship standard players I would buy tickets for Preston, I spent nearly a grand on tickets for the family last august well not this time.
We sell Anelka for 15m Megson was given 10m before the Anelka deal that gives 25m to spend and we get rubbish Taylor 3m, Steinson 3.5m ,Cahill 5m plus Cohen for ? and Raziak Loan in my small mind thats only 11.5m what has happenned to the Anelka transfer money? Probably in Gartside and Davies's pocket add that to the parachute payment for going down they will be able to run away with a tidy sum.
A group of us are going to Reading tommorrow and guess what? Megson will get some verbals, the man is a fool with no idea how to spend money,it will be like forrest all over again he will blame everyone else but his self.
A disgusting farce all round

I'm not a Megson fan (in fact, I thought it was a wrong appointment) but perhaps he was told he only had so much to spend.
Given Gartside's track record, I suspect the rest is gaining interest in someone's bank account.

how can spurs let a player like Jermain Defoe go just like that! I wish the boy good luck because he is a good player and put up with sitting on the bench but why did spurs let him go! they should have atleast waited till summer and get a replacement! DISGUSTING
