It seems that Pfister knows Ghana and is respected there; so I tend to believe him. This is exactly the kind of thing you expect from Africa - complete chaos.

I was against South Africa receiving the 2010 world cup and I think we'll find that it will be the worst organized tournament ever. Hopefully, that will be the last time that FIFA forces an African world cup down the throats of football fans.

mr france? how is africa in the dark ages because of our appreciation of culture and heritage? because of our acceptance? you think you are so much better? that bribery and such does not exist in europe? sure! even in serie A, one of the supposed best leagues in the world, were the teams not sent down and fined due to bribing referees? in france, you have one of the biggest sportin events in the world, the tour de france, yet you cannot seem to find a winner who is not on drugs?!? look in your own backyard before digging the dirt in ours.

Eto'o is African most over-rated footballer ever! He's selfish, cocky and embarrassingly unpatrotic. It's a shame someone like him has a record to brake...anyways he was able to do that with so many dubious penalties!

My answer to the article's topic: YES, Eto'o is the best African striker of all times. And you all know I don't need to give any specifics....

And this is the kind of article you expect from an uninformed nincompoop like you. Paint the entire African continent with a single stereotypical brush. The Italian league got slapped with bribery and match-fixing - does that make all Italians bribe takers? There was chaos in USA 94, Japan/Korea 2002 WC's regarding ticketing. Did you write this diatribe as well? Or do you come out of your little rock only when the recipient of your silliness has melanin abundance? Buzz off dude. So the Cameroonians did not get the amentities due them, and they rightfully complained - how does that make Ghana's organization of the event chaotic? Make some sense please when you post.

I agree with saudioak. They should get what they pay for. Howver I don't think Otto Pfister is trying to make any excuse. Cameroon might look kinda sluggish, but they're not out yet!
Big up to Ghana for the organisation!

Africans have to be realistic and face things as they are. Refusing that Eto is not the best in Africa now will not make him to stop performing well. How many players have had injury as he had within the last 18 months and still play good football.
Accepting the facts will not wipe out pokous name from history nor will it prevent players like Essien or Drogba to have attention. It is high time we left our emotions and face reality.

About Pfisters complains, There is nothing wrong with them. Any hotel whether it is a 1,2,3,4,or 5 star must be clean and ready for guest at any time. It becomes funny when guest will come to a hotel before it is clean. This shows that every one of us who think that Pfister is wrong to complain is a very DIRTY AND UNTIDY human being.

We should learn to face reality and make corrections as fast as we can for our dear continent rather than saying rubbish as ( they were in a 3 star hotel and should not expect a 5 star treatment as if only 5 star hotels are suppose to be clean and ready for guests).

Hi Saudioak,
I do not know whether some of us understand all about football. If you are a footballer or a fan , you should know that in a competition, a coach has the right to decide if his team should have training sessions with the presence of spectators or not to decide the strategy for the next match.
It is the place of the host nation to ensure that.Pfister is right.
Lets be realistic and visit our football records before writing.
