First French 15!!!!European France by frenchyinexile (U9863795) 30 January 2008 Have just seen the new French 15 to play scotland on Sunday. Must say I am fairly excited about the 4 new caps and team as a whole. It is good to see new faces Malzieu, Faure and Trinh-Duc have been playing very well for clubs and I hope to see open running rugby from us this year. Sandeno (U1797902) posted Jan 30, 2008 As a stern French supporter I can only see this team being slaughtered. They will do good if they win two matches (Scotland, Italy). Fair enough the coach is throwing some new blood in the mix but he has completely lost his marbles not picking Martin, Nyanga, Poitrenaud to mention three. Nevermind, this is why this bunch is so predictable innit?

hct1802 (U10747390) posted Jan 30, 2008 Just looked at the team again, Even if Trinh-Duc is in the squad, coming from a rugby perspective I think Beauxis should start anyday - I don't follow Top 14 but from what I've seen in internationals he has alot of potential so I think it's crzy not including him.

HughMundell (U7605666) posted Jan 31, 2008 Their squad looks strong, particularly as the majority of players are from their leading clubs Toulouse, Clermont and the up and coming Montpellier. If they play to their traditional strengths - dynamic, running rugby - they will be hard to beat and are probably favourites to win the tournament again.
