"Lost all respect" ?? - get a life !! How can you lay into Gatland , they haven't even thrown a ball yet !! This idiot dynamic 27, needs to get a grip on reality, and realise that slagging off coaches, and sacking them after a few games is not working. You can bang on about different players from different regions as much as you like - he's picked more or less the best team available -it's what Gatland can do with this team in the next couple of seasons we need to judge him on, not after a couple of games, or even a couple of days like our friend has decided to do !! He has earned the respect of every member of the squad already, the players love him, he has new ideas, fresh approach, a rugby mind , and he's a proven winner!!(or has our friend forgotten what he achieved in Ireland, but especially Wasps.)
Our friend is right in saying that the Ospreys have only performed a couple of times this year- However they raised their game in the BIG Games,(heineken) and England is a big game. He's also right in saying that the main reason that they won was the N> Zealand influence- correct, however, they would not have performed without a solid platform, i.e the front 5, or the whloe front 5 of the Welsh team.I understand and back Gatland whole heartedly , and hope that the majority of Welsh supporters do the same. By the way, I honestly believe that the main reason that the Ospreys have under performed is that quite simply L. Jones isn't good enough- the job is too much for him.(before you start, L. Jones has had years in the job) We desperately need to get rid of this antiquated,village or club mentality, and start backing our coaches , - or at least give them time !!

parker is the defence captian for the ospreys and we are the only welsh region who play the blitz defence he is similar in style to fraser waters who is the main man for the wasps blitz defence
shanklin is a better player but thats proably the reason plus he has twice outclassed his opposite number tindall this year.

don't get me wrong id have picked shanks but there are reasons why you can see parker got the nod

if we do have central contracts (and llanelli and cardiff ruined any chance by demanding to stand alone at the inception of regional rugby) they should contract the best players in each position and put 1 in each region
sadly the wru doesn;t have the finance to do this and we would see wages drop more not less players move to englaand/france

I'm by no means welsh, however, i am a London Wasps fan. As strange as i thought it was the WG chose 13 players from one team, just you wait to see what he does with them!

26-19. Kind of makes 'dynamic 27' look rather silly doesn't it! We need something radically different because what we've had for the last two decades hasn't worked...work with the coach and not against him at the first opportunity. Patience!

Gatland has been a success wherever he's been. To knock his selection before they've but a shirt on is pathetic!
