Dukeseee (U2776974) posted Jan 29, 2008 I don't get why everyone is moaning about how Liverpool got special treatment over Mascherano. FIFA most likely recognised that Mascherano would be better off at Liverpool rather than at West ham where there would be question marks over how they purchased him, as there still are now.

Dylanlegend (U3822925) posted Jan 30, 2008 If you can't play for 3 clubs in one season. How come this doesn't apply to the loan ruling. For example, Ben Alnwick is on loan at Leicester and was on loan at Luton earlier in the seaon but is owned and plays for Tottenham? There are numerous other loan players whohave played for more than 2 clubs in one season - Collins John another (Fulham, Leicester and now Watford).
