If he was signing for Specialdispensationlooserpool, then were would not be a problem.

FIFA has one set of rules for it's favoured few, and another for the rank and file.

but tevez didn't play for three clubs in one season? i was sure he moved to united after last season, perhaps that was someone else scoring against united on the LAST day of the season.

I don't get why everyone is moaning about how Liverpool got special treatment over Mascherano. FIFA most likely recognised that Mascherano would be better off at Liverpool rather than at West ham where there would be question marks over how they purchased him, as there still are now.

Also, Mascherano didn't move clubs 2 times in one season, he was loaned to liverpool rather than taken on a permanent deal. Had Fulahn tried to sign him on loan it may have been a different story. Also another consideration is that Mascherano played for 2 clubs within the same nation, where as Cousin would have been playing in his third UEFA nation in a season. Dunno whether that would have any effect on their decision but it could do.

Although it is harsh considering he only played 20 minutes it is the rules.

The usual rubbish.

FA / FIFA / Prem League all favour the big boys and the clubs who give them a few nice backhanders !
Football is so corrupt now , you can even predict which games are bought !

If you can't play for 3 clubs in one season. How come this doesn't apply to the loan ruling. For example, Ben Alnwick is on loan at Leicester and was on loan at Luton earlier in the seaon but is owned and plays for Tottenham? There are numerous other loan players whohave played for more than 2 clubs in one season - Collins John another (Fulham, Leicester and now Watford).

Why don't Fulham just sign him on loan and sign him permenantly in the summer? SORTED!!

Dylanlegend is spot on! I have been scratching my head wondering why a loan deal until the summer cant be agreed!

The two club rule is in place and Fulham (like all clubs) are aware of it!

There is nothing here that shows that FIFA favour the big boys. The clubs dealings with Mascerano were on loan deals and its only recently that Liverpool have the option to purchase the player outright!
